April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing guitar and piano lessons which ignited her passion for songwriting. At the age of seven, April began taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her interest to write songs. At 14, April spent much time writing lyrics and perfecting her musical abilities. Soon after, April started to travel with her dad as well as write her songs at home in NY as well as LA. April added other themes to the tune "Take My Hand" for a few of her the friends she had who struggled with problems like peer pressure, issues, or even teenager suicide.
