Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her lead roles on a number of TV shows, and also for her powerful performances in movies. There is a huge fanbase in American and Canadian TV. Emily's love for acting first began at the age of 12 when she was visiting the sister of Katie who was making a film with Katie. After Emily discovered her passion for acting, she took acting classes and attended auditions. After several commercials that were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian Kids' Horror TV show Are You terrified of the Dark? which featured her only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. Her first major break at 15 when she was cast as a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Even though the show was cancelled after nine episodes Emily's performance attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who decided to cast her in his television show Everwood. Emily is also a dancer also a photographer, and was named among the top 20 Teen's actors. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
